Decks Containing Forbidden-Crypt

the point of this deck is to bring out cheap clerics, destroy them by giving everything -x/-x counters, then bringing them back. i brought out 18 6/5 zombies.

it was a hundred card deck, but i took the excuse of not being able to fit it in this deck log as an excuse to make it as small as my normal decks, 60 cards. as you can see, i like to only have one of each card, makes slivers a dream, and i have plenty of little 1/1 green snake/sliver tokens to make a true sliver legion

use the ohhhhh.... so great twilight's call and living death to put creatures into play. if you are playing some beefy green deck, then be sure to suprize them with the call as an instant.

the main engine of the deck is pestilence. it is used to inflict most of the damage and to keep it in play, the deck makes use of nether spirit who can rise during upkeep, and a couple of breeding pits for maintenance cost. to prevent taking damage yourself, cast pariah on drudge skeletons who can regenerate for a mere black mana.

this deck does have some elements of a black weenie deck, with the small creatures.however it's real strength is shown at around turn 7,esp if you have a doomsday in your hand,play the doomsday and put 4 drain life and the crypt in your library with the crypt at the bottom and just drain life away.email me wi

Play a Suicide black strategy until you can get out a Forbidden Crypt with Donate in your hand.

As you can see this deck is....um....abit creature light - only the hermits and the rangers - but it still has plenty of stomping power! The deck has plenty of game winning cards, a well timed titania\'s boon or overrun on a couple of squirrel\'s will happily mow your opponent into the floor. Animate deads, they\'ve got a nice creature, kill it and then pinch it. but the staple game winning combo is Altar Of Dementia+Living Lands+ALL YOUR LAND+Coat Of Arms (if needed). Invariably your squirrels have knocked a couple of life points off but thats not the way to go. Play the altar, then your living lands, if you\'ve got the arms in play they get +X+X (X being the number of lands) then sac them all to the altar and watch there deck disappear and with the millstones you can dissolve their deck right infront of their eyes. Use the tutors if you can\'t find that elusive combo maker! Obviously it will require tweaking and replacements will be found but it has a solid basis. PS.
