Decks Containing Promise-of-Power

arena and promise of pain give you card advantage. grid monitor, terror, and smother stall untill oblivion stone kills all. then attack... this decks only weakness is if you get no removal spells in the early draw.

fast, one or two shots for kill, just hope someone plays shared fate!

68 black control deck. main combo is lethal vapors and mindslavor for unlimited turns (or no turns for opponent, same thing). use lethal vapors early if needed to stop a creature flow. use blackmail to get rid of anything htat could mess up your combo.

save isochron scpeter for use with counterspell (nasty surprise for your opponent) then just build up power... (sorry for the pun, promise of power) [insert laugh here] this deck is good, it can control until you have your winning cards out.

lich's tomb is a fun card. v_e_r_y fun.

type 2 mono black. kills, usually, by consume spirit with mass mana. i have many creature controllers in here. my sb is pretty self-explanatory. although, with the moxes, i an drop a persecute 2nd turn, which is pretty devastating.

use terror, banishing, smother, bane, and visara to get rid of creatures and use reiver demon to also clear the board. use extraplanar lens to speed up the mana and get out promise of power on 5th turn with entwine and kill them w/consume spirit plus attack with demons for loads of damage. (remember its t2)

i saw your deck and thought up some improvements, that idea is awsome. i wanna build it now. i made a few changes adding and removing key, and uneeded cards. also i added spellweaver helix for a combo with lab rats and diabolic tutor, that should make it faster. thankyou wondermaker
