pop out the memory crystals for free buyback on the rats, and start spitting them out for 1 black each. add in a grave pact with smokestack or attrition, and you have control of the field. contamination is there to shut down the annoying counterspell decks that can cripple this deck.

just take a wild guess about how i wanted this deck to work when i built it.

the five elders were always cool, but the cost sucks.take that away with the portal and you can start having fun.use volrath to recycle the doubles and have quite an army of titans.plus the all hallow's eve and death pit offering is cool combo too.

get out a swarm of rats, then play day of the dragons and its basically game over=)=)=)

the point of this deck is to bring out cheap clerics, destroy them by giving everything -x/-x counters, then bringing them back. i brought out 18 6/5 zombies.

this deck is mostly zombies, except for lord of the undead and ascendant evincar. conspiracies make lords of the undead into zombies so they also get +1/+1, and they also bypass the legend rule, so more than one ascendant evincar can be played. death pit offering and coat of arms are thrown in there along with the lord of the undead and ascendant evincar to pump the creatures up into unstoppable behemoths!
