Decks Containing Ashnod-sq-s-Altar

unlimited combo. the dreadnought, mortuary, kavu lair, and ashnod's altar. yes this is four cards, however this is an auto win with either keeper of the vault, tendrils, or coils. also it has the fecundity, mortuary, ashnod's altar, phyrexian altar, rotlung reanimator. this is five cards. i havn't tried it yet, hope it works. it's kind of like wireing a bomb with 8 too many fuses.

This deck is based on infinite mana and damage generation using looping artifact sacrifice and retrieval.

sacrifice an ornithopter to ashnod's altar. add 2 mana. you get it back to your hand, with enduring renewal. repeat. use alabaster potions, and other x spells such as blaze, for infinite damage or life. a howl from beyond can create an ornithopter from hell...

fast and destruction, sliver's infestation and combo infinite token...

Hope you get some 0 cost guys at the beginning and at least 1 Disciple and Ashnod's. Have your soul nets out, sacrifice the 0 cost guys to ashnod's for 2 colorless, opponent loses 1 life for each disciple on the field, use one mana to grim harvest him back, then play him, sac another to get more colorless, use a swamp to recover grim harvest, you still have 1 floating mana, pay 1 swamp to play grim harvest again, then repeat. Try to get gristle grinner out early, and then do this process over and over, to make gristle grinner a really high monster if you need to block.

With all the free creatures this deck takes very little mana to run. It can function on 2 mana or less. hold on to the free creatures as long as you can, drop a couple of genisis chambers and soul wardens, then play the free creatures. you can instantly amass huge numbers of 1/1 myr and gain life from them with the soul wardens and elders. The genisis chambers also force others to put myr into play giving you even more life. there is also an infinate life and myr combo using the chamber, myr retriever, soul warden and ashnods alter.

the sky is the limit for life, damage, amount of creatures and the only one that is playing is you.

when you have aluren and goblin bomardment in play use two junk divers to do infinite damage. use aluren, goblin bombardment and ashnod's altar for infinite colorless mana. then after either of those two use caller of the claw for infinite 2/2 bear token creatures.
