Prevents all damage that your opponents creatures would do to you. Works better if it had flying and if you had Claws of Gix to sacrifice Statecraft when you're ready.

donate the statecraft and have the instigator make your opponents creatures attack. recycling is always useful here for the instigator.

put hermetic study and charisma on the horseshoe crab then take everyones creatures and then destroy statecraft when you have them all destroy statecraft and get redy for an all out assault

Cast Lure on The Wretched and attack with it. If Wretched is blocked, Statecraft prevents all combat damage. At end of combat, you gain control of all creatures blocking The Wretched.
