discard the confinement to put a creature out. then tap the slate to discard your hand, put more creatures into play, and draw tons of cards

Slate of Ancestry reads: 4/tap/discard your hand: draw a card for each creature you control. Spirit Cairn lets you make tokens every time you discard. Careful not to deck yourself!

play this with many creatures and lands. you tap the slate and draw many cards. you pay (1) as much as you please, gaining tons of life (got up to 130 once). also works with other "words of ____".

have a bunch of creatures out in play then use the slate of ancestry to draw a card for every creature then instead of drawing the cards deal 2 damage per card to target player(s) or creature(s).
