Combos Utilizing Scoria-Cat

at the begining of your turn tap all lands with chimeric idol that way scoria cat is a 6/6 and citidel of pain doesn't deal any damage to you and then chimeric idol is 3/3 (this is good later in game)

Scoria Cat's ability is now AWESOME!!!! with the Idol and Awakening in play

Put Citadel of Pain out. Turn the chimeric idol into a creature, tapping all of your lands. Now, you have a 3/3, 6/6, and a 4/2 ready to attack, and you don't take any damage from the COP

Use War Cadence to make your Creatures harder to block, and to tap all your lands. Then you will take no damage from Citadel of pain and you will have a practically unblockable 7/6

use soothsaying's ability and tap all lands to pay for x and reorder the top x cards. since all lands are tapped you get 2 life from well of life and scoria cat becomes a 6/6

use sqaullmonger to tap out every turn and pump up other three creatures

Use Whip Sergeant as a mana sink to give your creatures haste. Once your tapped out, Veteran Brawlers, Scoria Cat & Spur Grappler become massive.

at end of turn, tap all lands, they buffup!
