Combos Utilizing Respite

Use the Oracle to make all of your opponets creatures attack and play respite. You gain a lot of life and a lot of your opponents creatures die.

with war drums in play, basilisk must be blocked by 2 or more creatures. before combat damage is dealt, pay cast respite. opponent's creatures die & basilisk takes no damage.

Attack with all of your creatures, the more the better. Once blockers are declared cast Respite to have no combat damage and gain life. Then cast Vitalize and untap all of your cratures.

Cast Lure on The Wretched. Attack with Wretched. If it is blocked cast Respite to prevent combat damage to Wretched. At end of turn gain control of all creatures blocking Wretched till it leaves play.
