Combos Utilizing Mana-Severance

Cast the Mana Severence and remove all land cards from your library save one (it is worth it to have 1 mountain in your deck and make that the land card that you leave even when not playing red). Then each turn you can use the Goblin Charbelcher's ability to deal a ton of damage to your opponent.

Cast Aluren and then play Psychic Vortex, draw lots of cards, and play tons of creatures fast. Works best with weenie hordes. Use Mana Severence to remove the unneeded lands from your library.

Mana Severence away all of your land. Then when you go to draw a card you can rearange your entire library.

Play the Mana Severance and the Deflection ( w/ the help of dark rituals) and deflect it to your enemy. Take all the lands left out of their deck for the game. the end result...they're screwed

Well, you make them mad by using Mana Severance then deflecting it to them and remove ALL their lands from their library. Then top it off with Sunder and Windfall to seriously kill their deck.

can you say weenie horde? chock your deck full of 3 casting cost creatures, sever your lands, and play them all at once.

your opponent won't be able to play your spells when they don't have the right land type. sideboarding is necessary when your opponent is also playing blue.
