Combos Utilizing Kaervek-sq-s-Torch

One drake in play and one in the graveyard. Tap five lands and play the nightmare, leaving 2 mana in the pool. Sacrifice the drake to the nightmare and put the other drake in play, untap five lands. Lather, rinse, repeat. Free mana.

first lay forest down cast tinder wall first turn, then second turn, lay second forest down, and cast kaeverk's torch, sac the tinder wall, channel 21 mana with 2 extra mana to counter, easy win

revolt makes land into 2/2 creatures. tap 6 land. use five to play assault (float 1 mana). assault untap all creatures. tap 6 land. use assault to untap creatures. repeat. kill opponent with torch

play insurrection to take control of all opponent's creatures. sac them to altar for mana. use mana to burn opponent with fireball

have repercussion in play. cast kaervek's torch to do x damage to opponent's creature and x damage to your opponent

if opponent tries to counter kaervek's torch, they must pay 5 mana (2 due to the torch & 3 due to the defense grid)
