Combos Utilizing Balance

Play Balance, and then as a fast effect play Kaervek's Spite. You'll basically reset the game, and an opponent loses 5 life.

make everyone draw lots of cards except you, then make them all discard their hands. fun with luhrgoyf or mortivore.

First put Vedalken Orrery out. At the opponent's turn cast New Frontiers with Orrery and your opponent must first decide whether or not to fetch any lands. If he/she does, do not fetch any and balance on next turn. If he/she does not, enjoy!

have terravore out then play reprocess sac' ing all other permenants you can(except 2 lands). then play balance. now you have an enormous terravore and a huge card advantage.

mind twist variation. put entire hand except balance under scepter. play balance. return cards under scepter to your hand.

blue card's ability to return to your hand (sliptide serpent, pheldagriff-the coolest card of all time) and erratic portal (or a few unsummons), recall all of your creatures. balance=wrath of god!

sac all your lands to gain life and then make them balance there lands to equal to yours

cast balance to remove permanents from play. cast manabond so that during your discard phase, you can put all land in your hand into play

cast cleansing, if your opponent all of his land, keep some of yours, gaining an advantage, if he saves any, kill all yours and balance his away.
