Combos Utilizing Backslide

play ixidor, and a lot of voidmages.ixidor's ability will let you morph for one less u. use backslide to turn them down again, or use unsummon to use again. a handful of counterspells in every morph!

bring out the imperial hellkite first. then ixidor. use the hellkite's morph ability to play the kilnmouth and get amplify for all dragons in your hand. use backslide to repeat this.

put nameless one into play face down, (having a lot of wizards in play) with the pathmage make it unblockable, then turn it face up, and then use the backslide to put it back down.

turn the firecat face down at end of turn so you don't have to sac it

put an opponent's creature face-down with backslide. the enchant them with death mutation. finally, force it face-up with break open and it dies.

first, place skinthinner face down on the field. then, pay it's morph cost to flip it back up to destroy a nonblack creature. play backslide to turn it face down again & repeat the combo!
