Combos Utilizing Ancient-Hydra

equip hydra with scythe. remove last fade counter from hydra to ping itself. it dies from 0 fade counters. return hydra to play & equip it with scythe without paying equip cost

Remove all fade counters from Venomous Fangs enchanted Ancient Hydra to deal 1 damage to 5 creatures. They all die.

cast blood lust on opponent's creature. if its toughness=1 remove fade counter from ancient hydra to kill it. if not, that creature now has power >4. ping it with intrepid hero to kill it.

cast ancient hydra; remove all fade counters to do 5 damage to opponent. cycle a card and slide hydra out of the game. when hydra return to play at end of your turn, it has 5 fade counters again.

play rancor on an ancient hydra, remove all counters then return it to ur hand

Tap Vhati il-dal and make toughness of opponent's creature one. Remove a fade counter from Ancient Hydra and destroy that creature.

before ancient hydra fades away, sac it to infernal tribute to draw a card

while lifeline is in play, remove all 5 counters (or however many are left) from the hydra for 5 damage. at the end of your turn, you get the hydra back, and can repeat the process.

Play the Ancient Hydra and attack right away if they block with a 1/1 2/2 3/3 4/4 or 5/5 you can just smoke it with the counters for 5 damage + remaining counters to opponent.
