stall

the main deal for this simple deck is to play a bird on turn one and to then roll out the land destruction. the fallow earth is in there stricktly because it stalls a card drwn that could be useful adn thins down the main supply of mana. granted that thermokarst is potentially better, but you have to watch out for your mana curve and be careful of your oppents speed. if you go first, you should play as much of the land bounce and or destruction and then play the blastoderm. generally speaking, you can nail them down when you play the blastoderm because it cant be targeted and can hit up for 20 damage if you have out a fervor. caution, you are weak to force of will and the likes of albino troll inc. hopefully you will deal fast with the lands to stop echo costs, but you have to find away to deal with them in a hurry and kill the creature will echo. when in doubt and you can't get a destruction spell out or don't draw one then you can always make the rvision of living wish to burning wish and fetch some pillages from the board. often though, you'll find that the lavamancer on the board can stop counters and turn your lost cards into shocks. useful. huh.
