In this combo, I have Rhys the redeemed, which makes copies of himself, and then copies of those copies. Rhys is 1/1 and so are his copies. If, there was some card like Wrath of God or some card like Wrath of god, such as Solar Tide, all those tokens would be destroyed, and Cauldron of Sould would be ineffective because my tokens would get sent to the graveyard as soon as the came back from it. Cauldron of souls gives creatured Persist, which allows any number of your creatured to return from the graveyard wit ha -1/-1 counter on them. Glorious anthem makes them at least a 2/2, so persist can now take effect. Drove of elves is there, just because it's power and toughness are equal to the number of green permanents you control. Guess what? All those tokens or copies of Rhys the Redeemed? Those are green permanents. So if after like 4 rounds I have like 42 or those copies, Drove of elves will be at least a 42/42. Oh, an Drove of elves has shroud. I think this is one of the most devastating combos ever. I don't want to say I was the first one to invent it, because I don't know that for a fact, but I've crushed all of my opponents with this combination, just because I also have like naturalizes in my deck and stuff like that to stop my opponent from destroying the copies. There is a more specific combo to ensure cards like Wrath of God don't destroy that, but that's for another time.

this is good but the tokens rhys makes are not copies of itself just cause they have identical traits (ya know except the actual rhys having abilities)and rhys itself is not a token - midnoctwolf

instead of Drove of Elves, a card that just has power and toughnes that are equal to elves in play or something like Timberwatch Elf would be better cuz i dont think tokens count as permanents since they are removed from game when sent to graveyard - Skippylikeno_moonflo

Tokens are permanents, that's why Warp World is such a fun card. And this does seem like a fun combo - Justy1369

token cant come back using presist. I've found this out the hard way. The reason is because they go to the graveyard. Tokens can go to the graveyard but not be in the graveyard. Once there they dont exist, so presist, which triggers as soon as they are in the graveyard. Since they dont exist in the graveyard presist dosn't trigger. - psyche
A very cool new magic the gathering related website that allows it's visitors to quickly create their own magic the gathering cards. Check out the one that the Moxdiamond Staff created!
